How much does Filemonk cost?
Filemonk has multiple plans, each designed to be as affordable as possible through every stage of your Shopify journey. The Free plan has an order limit and all paid plans have unlimited orders. You can select the free plan or select a paid plan depending on the amount of storage you need.
To see the latest plans and their prices, click 'Plans' in the left menu bar. Then, click on each plan to see its features.

What do you mean by "order limit"?
Order limit is the number of digital orders Filemonk will process for a billing cycle. On the Free plan, Filemonk will process upto 50 orders containing digital products per month. The order limit resets every month on the reset date mentioned on the Home page of your Filemonk dashboard. On the paid plans, orders and downloads are unlimited.
Does the size of files or number of downloads affect the order limit?
No, your usage of Filemonk on the Free plan is only based on the number of orders. Customers can download the file as many times as they want to, and there's no limit on size of file either.
What happens if I cross the order limit?
On the Free plan, Filemonk will stop processing orders. You need to upgrade to a paid plan to ensure customers get their downloads.
Are imported orders counted towards the order limit?
If you import existing orders on your store to Filemonk, they will be considered towards your plan limit on the Free plan. They are not counted towards the limit on paid plans. Before importing your orders, get in touch with us to understand the charges you may incur.
What do you mean by storage limit?
Storage limit is the total size of all files you can upload to Filemonk. All plans have a storage limit, and you should pick one depending on how many files you plan to upload to Filemonk. For example - if the total size of all files you're planning to upload is 10GB, consider subscribing to the Lite plan or above.
Does the storage limit reset per month?
No, it does not reset monthly. This is a total limit that applies to all files through the lifetime of the app's usage. To reduce your storage, consider deleting unused files or uploading your files to other platforms like Google Drive/Dropbox and linking it to Filemonk.
What is app spending limit?
Filemonk issues usage charges which can include a spending limit that prevents charges from exceeding a maximum threshold over the duration of the billing period. The $2000 app spending limit is put in place for additional usage that may be incurred from exceeding the limits set in the fair usage policy. These charges will be explained in detail before they are added to your account - they are never added automatically.
What is the fair usage policy?
The fair usage policy refers to the total gigabytes (GB) of data downloaded per month. While Filemonk allows customers to download files as many times as they want and there is no limit on the size of files for individual orders, there is an overall monthly data/download usage limit in place to ensure fair usage of resources. If the total data usage exceeds the limit in your plan, additional charges may apply. This policy ensures that all users have access to fair and adequate resources without any single user disproportionately affecting the service quality for others. Please refer to the table below for plan limits and additional charges per plan.
What happens when I exceed the fair usage policy limit?
When you exceed the fair usage policy limit, a team member from Filemonk will reach out to you. We will walk you through corrective actions - such as uploading your files to Google Drive or Dropbox. By taking corrective actions, you can reduce your bandwidth and avoid any charges for fair usage policy.
Our team will do their best to reach out to you repeatedly until we hear from you. In case we don't hear from you, your store's downloads will be blocked. At this point, you can reach out to us to unblock the downloads and take one of the following actions -
Upgrade your plan to increase the fair usage policy limit.
Upload your files to Google Drive or Dropbox, and link them to products in Filemonk.
Agree to the fair usage policy charges mentioned above.
If you agree to the fair usage policy charges, downloads from your store will be enabled and a new billing cycle will begin. Filemonk will charge you for additional usage only if you exceed the fair usage policy limit in the new billing cycle.
